The channellist in the receiver is made from descriptors in the NIT or SDT.
The channel list is the link between the channel and the triplet of the service.Within DVB each service is unique identified by the triplet: original_network_id, transport_stream_id, service_id. Some providers uses a private channel number descriptor in the SDT, other providers use the LCN descriptor defined by the EACEM ( European Association of Consumer Electronics Manufacturers ). therefore, for the Logical Channel Number a Private Data Descriptor Descriptor specifier is found indicating this. With the HD simulcast descriptor is it possible for HD receivers to replace the SD version by the HD version. Alternatively, the SD version, can get an alternative channel number. |
Export of tables is now possible from the tree. Under the section number of the corresponding table is the choice available to export the entire table of this section to XML or PDF.By example XML export the first section of the NIT actual table of REKAM dutch cable provider. Or the PDF export of the SDT-actual on TS1097, Astra ( Canal Digitaal ). |
